Investigate if the project is worth pursuing on a given site and within a given budget.
Develop the brief into a conceptual design suitable for council planning submission. 3D modelling is undertaken to understand the form and the proposed spaces perform.
Produce technical drawings and specifications for submission to local authorities for Building Rules Consent and Development Approval.
Co-ordinate services with secondary consultants as required.
The interior design is developed with selections including sanitary-ware, joinery materials, floor finishes, paint colours, lighting fixtures, appliance selections etc.
Prepare the documents for Tender with select builders and administer the appropriate Building Contracts.
Track progress on site and check quality of work against documents.
Assess progress payments by builder, as well as answer any requests for information or provide design advice throughout the construction period.
